St John's

has an established school uniform which has been agreed after consultation between governors, parents and teachers.
We encourage all children to take a pride in their appearance and to wear their uniform and the school P.E. Kit.
Please name all your child's clothing.
This assists both your child and the teachers when items are mislaid.

Boys wear
Navy Blue knitted jumper OR
Navy Blue V neck or Crew neck sweatshirt with the gold embroidered school badge
Plain white or blue shirt
Grey trousers (long or short)
A blue and gold school tie
Grey socks and black shoes

Girls wear
Navy Blue knitted jumper or cardigan OR
Navy Blue V neck or Crew neck sweatshirt or cardigan with the gold embroidered school badge
Plain white or blue blouse
Grey skirt, culottes or pinafore dress in the winter
Smart tailored navy blue trousers are optional - (no jeans, leggings, leg warmers)
A blue and gold tie in the winter is optional
Blue and white striped or gingham dress in the summer
White socks, Grey/Blue tights and black shoes

A tie should be worn with both types of sweatshirt. Elasticated ties are available for Years 1/2.
In Foundation
White polo shirts are worn by the children. Ties are not appropriate for Reception children.
For P.E. / Indoor Games

P.E. Kit is brought to school on a Monday in a draw-string bag and taken home on Friday.

Outdoor Games - Summer
Children usually wear their P.E. Kit in the summer term, but this depends upon the weather. Games kit should only be brought to school on Games days. Tracksuits may be worn for games lessons in the winter and spring terms and for the journey to swimming.
