As our classrooms are partly carpeted we do ask that all children have a pair of indoor shoes for use in very wet weather.
Hair bands, “scrunchies” and the like should be in school colours. Hair should be the natural colour and styled in such a way that children do not stand out from other children. The wearing of make-up and nail varnish is not allowed.
P.E. and Games
We ask
all children to have:
Years 3, 4, 5 and 6
-
Trainers for outdoor use
-
Track suit (or similar) for outdoor games in winter
-
Swimming trunks (boys), swimming costume (girls), swimming hat and towel.
-
Football boots and shin pads may be required for some children during their school career, and they will be informed if these are necessary.
We supply jumpers, cardigans, sweatshirts, T shirts and polo shirts with the school's name embroidered on them.
To enable us to return any item of lost property to its owner, we ask that all items of uniform and clothing are clearly marked with the child's name.
Bags
– Because storage space in the cloakrooms is very limited, we ask that if children bring a bag to school it is no longer than 40 cm. The nylon frameless rucksacks are ideal.
Jewellery – the wearing of jewellery (including earrings) at school is not allowed for safety reasons, as a great deal of physical activity takes place.
